Learners gaining this qualification will understand that moving and handling must be carried out correctly and will recognise its importance in ensuring a safer working environment. Subjects covered include the reasons for safe Manual Handling, Manual Handling risk assessments, principles, types of equipment and testing requirements associated with Manual Handling.

Course Objectives
By the end of our comprehensive training course, delegates will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the risks and practical issues involved with Manual Handling and correctly use these skills in the office, commercial or industrial environment.

This is a half day course.

NUCO. (Level 1 = half day, Level 2 = 1 day)
